Carlo Capponi
Carlo Capponi has Italian and German roots and grew up speaking both
languages. His extensive professional background has provided many firsthand
experiences in how the reconciliation of cultural differences can improve
real business performance.
His professional experience covers corporate finance advisory and international
business development, with an expertise in global strategy, cultural change
management, facilitation of post merger integration, corporate governance
and corporate social responsibility. Carlo started his career in 1987
at Montedison, an Italian conglomerate, where he gained line experience
in the Energy Division in Milan. Since 1990 he has been practicing as
a consultant in numerous European countries, working in various industries
such as consumer goods, financial services, retail, information technology,
industrial goods, health care and transportation, including a large airport.
Carlo studied business and economics at Bocconi University (Milan), where
he was contract professor for Strategic Planning and Technology Management
from 1995 to 1999.
He has authored articles on strategy, corporate planning and process
re-engineering, and has assisted his clients in managing international
strategies, international expansion, and global organizational development.
More recently, he has focused his research around issues of embedding
shared values into business processes and organizational structures.
He is married with 3 children, and lives and works between Amsterdam,
Munich and Milan.
